Yoshino Issei Exhibition

Twenty years have swiftly passed since YOSHINO Issei passed away in 1996 at the age of 32.
Yoshino was one of the founders of Origami Tanteidan (now Japan Origami Academic Society) and a talented and prolific creator who led the community of young origami enthusiasts at that time. Following his death, Yoshino Issei Fund was established and started to invite young or renowned foreign origami artists every year. The invitees have been stimulating young creators as Yoshino did in his lifetime.
To memorize the deceased influential origami creator, we are going to have a special exhibition where you can fold any origami works designed by him and present them along with the works folded by himself, most of which are going to be exhibited first time in the twenty years. Do not miss this notable opportunity to make some of Yoshino's designs.
