Call for Submissions
We welcome all origami-related researchers, artists, and educators to 6OSME and its scientific program. We accept presentations on origami in art, design, mathematics, science, computer science, engineering, liberal arts, history, education, and other fields and their intersections. Wide-ranging interaction between the arts and diverse academic studies in origami makes OSME special.
6OSME Call for Abstracts
The deadline for abstract submission is November 1, 2013 November 21, 2013.
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Contributed papers will become 25 minute oral presentations (including questions) at the conference. Interested authors should submit an abstract of no more than 300 words. Submissions should be made electronically through the following submission website:

Please log in to the system by signing up for an EasyChair account or by using an existing account if you already have one.
Abstracts should be submitted by clicking the "New Submission" menu item.
A title of no more than 80 characters and an abstract of no more than 300 words should be submitted in plain text format.
Then, select the category your submission belongs to from the following options:
- Mathematics
- Science
- Education
- Technology
- Design
- Art
- Other
Also, provide at least 3 keywords (or key phrases) to characterize your paper.
If desired, a supplemental one-page abstract including figures, tables, or formula may be submitted through the "Upload Paper" menu. Both the abstract text and any figures must fit on a single A4 page. The submission should be in one of the following formats:
- PDF (file extension .pdf)
- Word document (file extension .doc)
- plain text (file extension .txt)
- Word open XML document (file extension .docx)
If you do not want to upload a one-page abstract, please mark the "Abstract Only" box.
Abstracts are due by November 1, 2013 November 21, 2013.. The submitting author will receive an email acknowledgment confirming receipt of the abstract. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed, and authors whose one-page abstracts are deemed to be eligible will be invited to write their final abstract by January 31, 2014. Final abstracts will be published online and in printed form at the conference.
Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit papers of up to 10 pages for publication in the conference proceedings book.
